Olive Sand

Olivine sand, also known as forsterite, has a main component of MgO·SiO₂ (m2s). It is a natural raw material with high refractoriness, high hardness and high thermal stability. Thanks to its "three highs and one stability" characteristics (high refractoriness, high Mohs hardness, high thermal stability and stable composition), it has become a core raw material for high manganese steel, alkaline synthetic steel casting and unshaped refractory materials.
